I agree 100 percent. And what happened to the fact that only people with the required magic could actually see the words on the pages? Bah, stupid TV people.

Hmmm, I have a hunch that they might be trying to shift back closer to what it was like in the books. After all, they just brought the boxes of Orden into the mix so perhaps what we were told about the BoCS at the start was really intentionally misleading.

Thats what the optimist in me says anyways...
Yesterday is HISTORY,
Tomorrow is a mystery,
But today is a gift...
That's why they call it "the present".

The whole thing with the book just made me mad! It was so great the way it was in the book. Changing the book, and actually having the book, not just being in Richards head, CHANGES EVERYTHING!!!! grrrrr

A list of problems i see with this:
1) Richard burned it when he was a teen.
2) No one but Richard, Zed, Darken Rahl, or any other gifted person should even see the words.
3) (as others have said) it is not a guid to the seaker it is an instruction book on how to open the boxxes of orden(even if this one is fake).
People are stupid; given proper motivation, almost anyone will believe almost anything. Because people are stupid, they will believe a lie because they want to believe it's true, or because they are afraid it might be true.
