here it's said that mexico can be a very dangerous place for a tourist, but I have a colleague at work who went there for like 6 months and he says it's an amazing country so... have fun! and I feel like sharing: just a minute ago a lady bug landed on my desk and now is climbing my keyboard. when I started typing it was on my space bar... very inconvenient if I may say so.

Ha ha, have fun in Mexico. My dad went down there a few years back. Came back with some not-so-clean pictures of his friends after a beer too many... Have fun, but do be careful.
Life sucks. My mom and dad are arguing about the fencing and my mom got all pissy today and threatened to take my horses to the auction and sell them off. I felt like crying. I really wish I had a job, or even just a freakin' license. That way, I could at least do something for myself and try to make life better. I hate going home anymore. I can't carry on a conversation with my mother without getting yelled at for one thing or another. My father won't do crap around the house. My mom's mare is wrecking the fencing and we can hardly afford to pay for new fencing. Our driveway has nearly washed out with all the rain. My mom's mare has a mud abscess and scratches, all on her left front leg, and none of it is getting better. I probably won't be able to make the Halloween horse show this Saturday, even though that is an annual 4-H activity, I haven't EVER missed it, and we spent almost $40 on my costume.
So yeah. FML.

Your parents should be able to get a replacement birth certificate. The money you will just have to work for somehow.

Sorry to hear that CMS. Bignate is right. Life does gets better. I was born in Okinawa Japan, my dad was contracted by Kadena Air Base. And my folks lost my birth certificate in the move back to the states. So I know exactly how you feel, I didnt get a new one till I was 17. Its a real pain in the ass!

And if they claim they don't want to get you one because of money or anything, just point out to them how important it will be for college. That should grease the wheels a little.

Things have gotten a little better. Rain has stopped some and parents have stopped fighting for the time being. So yeah...
New problems:
Calculus is kicking my ass!! I don't understand it at all. I haven't turned anything in for the past week and a half. I just don't know how to do it, so I don't do it. I don't even know where to start...
Also found out that one of the guys in ROTC that I've known for nearly 3 years likes me. A lot. I like him, and we both know each other's opinion, but he won't ask me out. He and my friend Jessica are real close, and Jess told me that he won't because he's afraid that, if our relationship fails, he'll lose the friendship we have now. AAH! Damnit! -_-

I don't know if anybody heard, but there was a shooting on Ft. Hood today which I live right next to. There are 12 dead and 30 or so wounded. So far no one I know was among them, but this is something that will be affecting the area for a while.

Damnit! -_- this story sounds very familiar to me because me and my boyfriend started out exactly the same way, as friends. we already knew eachother 6 months when he asked me out. that's almost 2 years ago and I had exactly the same doubt as your friend has. I was scared it would ruinn the friendship. but you can't be any further off really, a strong friendship is a great base for a good relationship. my advise would be to ask him out and to just GO FOR IT! it's the best thing I've ever done I don't know if anybody heard, but there was a shooting on Ft. yeah, I heard about that... sad story, but somehow, I don't believe this was just because he was being send away. If I heard correctly the guy would did this was a moslim. coincidence? may be, but I don't think so.

The violence that took place in Ft Hood is awful. Us as Americans should not have to fear attack by our brothers in arms much less in our own bases. It's a real tragedy. The cowardice of that man sickens me. Not getting on here to bash any ppl. Just the acts of violence.

So Cove played Harker Heights in football tonight and twice the entire Heights bench ran out on the field and started fighting with the 11 Cove players that were on the field. Both times, no Cove player from the bench got more than about 5 yards from the sideline. The refs called the game halfway through the 3rd after the second fight. I sorta wanted the game to continue because I wanted to see how many times Heights would shame themselves by having 40 or so guys fighting 11.

So I saw a really gay car today. It was a 90's model Camero with purple on the top and orange on the bottom. Both colors were metallic and sparkly. On the hood it had a huge paw print and it had a three foot tiger tail sticking out of the trunk. A mid to late 20's GI was driving.
