Yayness! I finally saw this episode!

I really did not like it. Tongue

The plusses:
1. The actress playing Anna did a convincing job. Smiley
2. Michael died. Cheesy

The minuses:
1. Everything else. Angry

'Nuff said.

So, here we go again. So, yet again, book goes out the window.

Good news, Chase is back. Bad news, he's a pussy. Chase got caught? Chase in a labour camp? Chase can't handle a quad? BULLSHIT!!!
Good news, boundary still looks cool. Bad news, it's still up. And then they make sure it stay's up.
Good news, more Gar's. Bad news, they still look like crap. Blood flies in a box? Chain's always straight up in the air, not moving?
Good news, invocation. YAY...Other news, they say it every evening, but they still need to be led by someone reading out of a book?
Bad news, Michael's back. Good news, dickhead dies. Yay.
Good news, Bridget. Bad news, Craig.

Nice tease by Kahlan at the start.
*sigh* Richard goes off on a sub-quest to prove how heroic he is, boring. Chase inspired by stories of the seeker sticking it to Darken Rahl. Whatever. He hasn't done that much yet, has he?
Haha  Grin Richard was too small for the D'haran uniform Grin.
The Kahlan/Richard sexual tension thing is a bit too in your face. I think it should be more subtle somehow. I don't know how, I just think it makes them look like any other couple and I don't want to see them that way. Even if it means Craig gets the girl.
They spent 13 episodes saying "We have to get Darken Rahl." "There's no time to waste!" "The life of every person in the Midlands is at stake." "The Seeker is the only one who can kill Darken Rahl." Here's a hint, move.

This is not a very good episode. Bridget dresses up?down as a whore. And while the perv in me is delighted and yelling "Any episode where Bridget gets down to her corset is a good episode  Grin Wink Grin". I still prefer the fully dressed, strong, full force, Mother Confessor Kahlan persona Bridget.

This show was like a 2 parter leading up to conversion where Kahlan could use her kick a$$ con dar.
They resolved somethings like Michael and Richards past. Chase had to find his family. They are an important part of the books, but also I liked knowing that Chase was still there. D'harans come in all sizes. Richard probably could only find an outfit that was too big  :)lol. I'm glad Kahlan finally got out of Richard a little of something that he was thinking. I mean if they can't progress in their relationship it's still nice to communicate and know what the other person is thinking. So we are left with Hartland being safe for the moment with the boundary still up Sad Maybe it will come down in season 2. Anyways Chase finds out his family is imprisoned by the D'harans. So Richard and Co. go help to rescue his family. Now his family is in the Midlands ready to help Richard any time he needs them. Maybe they can all go to Eydindril.

Yeah I guess with Michael dead and Hartland safe behind the Boundary, that's a couple of loose ends nicely tidied up. It's nice to have Chase there, feels a bit like he's there to keep Zedd's spot warm. To keep it a trio cause the two musketeers just doesn't work.

Hope Chase's family don't have to wait as long as it's taken for them to get...nowhere.

OK... I am finally catching up, and like a lot of folks, I don't agree with Michael being turned into a hero, rather than the lying, traitorous bastard I know he really is.

Rachel should have been with Chase, yes. Her character still has work to do later on!!

And wouldn't this have been a good point to introduce Nadine into the population of Hartland and Richard's background? She could have been "Anna" and still gone to to be at the Temple of the Winds... Damn! I'm getting ahead of the story!

'Nuff said for now!

I think Nadine from TotW equals Anna from the series.
