Official Sword of the Seeker WebsiteHello fellow Sword of Truth fans! This is something I've put a lot of effort and thought into. I've talked to a lot of fans in the past and they've all said one thing in common. They wish they could live in the world Terry created. Here's the chance. Sword of the Seeker is a FREE to play 2D Online RPG in development. Most of the engine is completed and we've actually begun developing the world in game. It will take place during the same time frame as the books, but the characters you know and love will not be present. There will be a Lord Rahl and yes, he will be evil and trying to take over the world, but the Seeker will not be Richard. The Seeker will be self proclaimed, by the first player to find the Sword of Truth. From then on, he (or she) will be the Seeker, and have the burden (or gift, however you look at it) of dethroning the Lord Rahl. However, other players will be able to kill the Seeker and steal/liberate/whatever the Sword of Truth, making them the new Seeker. You will have the ability to learn many different types of weapons and armor. Not to mention, if you're lucky enough to be born with the Gift, you'll be able to use Additive magic and if you're willing to sell your soul to the Keeper, you can learn Subtractive magic. The game has endless possibilities. What do you guys think of the idea? A few screenshots: Farm in Hartland: In front of the First Councilor's house:

The little guy looks naked or shirtless. Although I would still probably play it.

Cut. Once committed to fight, cut. Everything else is secondary. Cut. That is your duty, your purpose, your hunger. There is no rule more important, no commitment that overrides that one. Cut. Cut from the void, not from bewilderment. Cut the enemy as quickly and directly as possible...

At the moment, he is only wearing underwear. Lol. As you can see from the inventory, the only item he has is the Sword of Truth. Still working on a few things, but it's going great. The town of Hartland is almost finished and then we'll start the surrounding areas. The boundaries will be up for the open beta period of the game, once it goes full release they will come down and those players that are Westlanders can finally come face to face with those from the Midlands. There are no plans to have D'hara in the very start of the game. Once we build a player base and can afford to split that base 3 ways, we'll introduce the D'harans and allow players to actually be one. I want as many suggestions from other SoT fans as possible, so if you guys have any ideas for the game, please, share them. Thanks for the comments.

I do apologize. We're in the process of moving the site to a new host and domain. Soon as I get that finished, I'll be sure to post the new link here and update the first post.
However, to the one that asked how much it's gonna cost, it's free. Atm, there are no plans for a cash shop or anything.

That looks and sounds fun. One question, so when u create a character what are the chances they will get the gift?

In times of war, a stick is your friend. And if a stick is your friend, then a pointed stick is your good friend. And therefore an army of pointed sticks is your best friend. Unless you are a wizard.
