Hi everybody!
I'm William, a 25 years old guy from Hungary. I haven't read the books but I like fantasy (dark fantasy especially - Barker and Lovecraft are among my favourite writers). That wasn't the reason why I've started watching the show a few weeks ago, though. I've read somewhere that Jolene Blalock will appear in the second season and because I didn't know anything about the show, I thought I'd check it out and watch the first two episodes. And man, am I glad I did! I became a fan immediately and finished the whole season in 3 or 4 days.

The actors are really good, the special effects are great, New Zealand looks amazing (like always

), the characters and the story are interesting, there are some really beautiful women in the show, so in short: I love Legend of the Seeker.

And I'm glad this show is more serious and less cheesy than Xena or Hercules.
But I can understand the fans of the books, somewhat. I've read about a couple of things that were removed or "dumbed down" but let's face it, this is what they had to do. Let's hope they can put in more and more from the books as the show goes on and continues to be succesful.
Oh, congrats to the composer for the Emmy win!

One last thing. Guys, please, use the Spoiler button! I've only seen the topics for the episode Prophecy but there were a lot of them! Luckily none of those matter now that I've seen season one and the three eps from S2, but I really don't want to catch something that will ruin a surprise in the show.

That is why I've decided to read the books only after the show is finished and there won't be any more episodes or a mini series or anything else.
